Local Area Network is essential for Airbus digital transformation as this the connectivity domain bridging all other digital areas. Local Area Network domains are the Campus Network, Datacenter Network, Cloud Network and Application Delivery Controller.
Airbus business is expecting speed, agility and flexibility when buying/building new applications.
The only way for the infrastructure team to deliver the connectivity on time and on quality is to improve our architecture and design by using the relevant connectivity solution. To do that, a Local Area Network Technical Expert is required with the appropriate skillset.
You will design & build reliable services to enable business teams to deliver efficient Products via automated and secured solutions.
This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.
This role will involve some travel for business once month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.
Airbus needs to on board people with proven experience on LAN technology, i.e. new concepts/ protocols/technologies enabling Digitalization and Flexible ICT used by the leading edge Digital companies.

Bachelor/ Master Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or relevant field with 4-8 years of network experience
PRIMARY
Solid competences in Networking and development
Good Knowledge of state of the art connectivity technologies, as well as emerging technologies
Good communication and collaboration skills to work in teams.
Ability to synthesis, structure and vulgarize highly technical topics.
Autonomous.
Language Skills: negotiation level of English.
GOOD TO HAVE
Experience in some of the following technologies:
Good Knowledge of state of the art connectivity technologies, as well as emerging technologies
General networking: Ethernet, VLAN, excellent understanding of TCP/IP, Switching, IP routing (OSPF, BGP), IPSEC VPN, IPv6
Campus Network: Stack, 802.1X, VSS, QoS
Datacenter Network: VPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, ARISTA
DNS/DHCP: Bind, DHCPd, Infoblox
Application Delivery Controller: F5 LTM & GTM, Nginx
Linux: Intermediate level expected
Monitoring and Metrology: Zabbix, AKIPS
Devops: Netbox, Python, JSON, Rest API, YANG, NetConf, Regexp, Ansible
CCNP/CCDP level (certification not mandatory) expected
Responsibilities
Drive Global service design and evolution making best use of Business services on the cloud solutions, Airbus Datacenter and Lan technical area.
Support the business demand by providing the required technology expertise to the business line of services.
Ensure that services are in compliance with Airbus Group security rules and standards.
Monitor the technology and/or methodology trends and support the teams to apply these within the Airbus Environment
Level 3 of escalation in case of a technical crisis on the network.
