The Fund Accounting team is responsible for timely and accurate delivery of NAV for Clients who have outsourced their Fund Accounting to JPM. This role involves understanding and executing end to end activities that comprises of daily NAV calculation and end of day Client reporting.

Key Responsibilities: 

The role is for a Project Manager within Corporate & Investment Banking Operations team. The Project Manager will work very closely with the operations team to focus on Location Strategy / Business Process Improvements. The candidate will work with the Fund Services Ops Lead of Mumbai, Bangalore, Manila & Hyderabad for providing the right program management expertise, operations support and data analysis. Key requirements for this role include. 

  • Deliver a consistent brand & messaging strategy through impactful, innovative & engaging editorial, campaigns & initiatives.
  • Manage and support the execution of high priority leadership and large-scale employee events across locations in India such as employee engagement events, executive visits, town halls etc.
  • Write simple, relevant and impactful articles and executive messages to support business priorities and drive people engagement.
  • Support in building and managing hybrid communication infrastructure across the sites, to enable smooth delivery of campaigns and messaging
  • Provide strong oversight and governance on key strategic programs and provide regular updates to various senior management forums.
  • Build and enhance the operating model through strong focus on location strategy and the resiliency framework.
  • Manage diverse stakeholders across different regions and functions. Ensure appropriate governance models are established and are driven on a periodic basis. 
  • Drive the Communications agenda by leveraging various communication tools to disseminate leadership updates and success stories across Securities Services Ops
  • Govern the vendor process including effective onboarding, engagement and offboarding and maximize utilization of vendor headcount. 
  • Demonstrate high degree of professionalism in executive interactions
  • Manage and draft agenda and minutes of leadership meetings. Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Ad-hoc business reporting, presentation and projects as requested.
  • Manage and execute on ad hoc projects as requested
  • Troubleshooting and executing problem solving techniques

 

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Ariba, Concur, e-Purchase or SAP
  • Understanding of Custody & Fund Services [ not in-depth knowledge required, but awareness of the business is helpful ]. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • MS Outlook – Advanced
  • MS Word – Intermediate to Advanced 
  • MS PowerPoint - Intermediate 
  • MS Excel – Intermediate 
  • Manage content delivery across internal communication vehicles, including intranet, email, newsletters, executive town halls etc.
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation skills and excellent communication both written and verbal.
  • Ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously and independently, while maintaining a high degree of communication and escalation at appropriate junctures 
  • Demonstrates problem solving, critical thinking, negotiating skills
  • Reporting, analytics and/or MIS experience
  • Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams &individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals.
  • Experience with or aptitude to learn about budgeting/financial projects; highly analytical mindset needed.
  • Previous experience and/or willingness to perform a hybrid role performing a number of concurrent tasks of widely varying scope and complexity
  • Good time management and prioritization skills

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate or Post Graduate with 10 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Project Management experience of at least 3 to 4 years.
  • Proficient is MS Excel & MS Power Point. 
  • Proficiency in MS project would be an added advantage.
  • Experience working within a large organization or technology group.
