Job Summary

You'll work collaboratively in teams on a wide range of projects based on your primary area of focus: design or programming. Job responsibilities

  • Provide support and maintenance for the company's DevOps Infrastructure and tools.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to Plan & Create, Continuous integration, Continuous delivery, and Deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth software releases and deployments.
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement in terms of efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for proactive issue detection and resolution.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure proper configuration management and version control practices.
  • Participate in incident response and resolution, including root cause analysis and post-incident reviews. Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and automation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of applied experience. A technical support, development or infrastructure background
  • Experience with technical support of applications or platforms and well versed in the software development life-cycle
  • Expertise in a development language such as Java or Python or a scripting language KSH and Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git, Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, etc.
  • Experience of Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban, Test Driven Development etc)
  • Strong experience in a DevOps or support role, working with CI/CD tools and infrastructure automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Support knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. Experience with UNIX/LINUX

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java Script, Bash, Python, or PowerShell. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef. Experience with micro-services
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus
  • Data mining and querying against databases. Experience and comfortable working in a high paced dynamic environment
