Job Responsibilities :

  • Financial Regulatory Reporting
    1. Provides oversight and management for Resolution & Recovery – Payments Critical Operation (CO). 
    2. Support provided includes analysis and reconciliation of Appendix data on a BAU basis (i.e. monthly, quarterly, annually) for the JPMCB Resolution Plan, in partnership with Operations, Technology, Product and Finance partners. 
    3. Maintains and reviews cost center mapping (ensuring there are no cost centers that are not relevant to the CO), which is the main basis for producing Appendix data. 
    4. Provides quarterly headcount projections (from Buenos Aires Global Corp Center) that is used for Material Legal Entity analysis, as well as the quarterly CO Scorecard, which is submitted to Corporate Resolution & Recovery team, in line with US regulatory requirements on CO governance. 
  • Governance
  1. Support implementation of governance structure day to day execution and ongoing improvement of the Run The Bank (RTB) Regulatory Reporting Process. Services include:
    1. Measure & Monitor – ensure appropriate metrics are defined, produced, reported and reviewed
    2. Quality Review and Quality Assurance – support global process implementation and testing of Completeness, Accuracy and Timeliness of Regulatory Reports
    3. Global Inventory Management of Regulatory Reports – Identify data quality deficiencies, Remediation, Documentation Completeness and Change Management Controls

Measures of Success:

  • Financial Regulatory Reporting
    1. Analyze trends, workflow, procedures, and processes to make appropriate recommendations to management
    2. Perform daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or ad hoc data gathering, consolidation, analysis and reporting utilizing various data sources and global applications. Ensure reports are prepared on a timely basis with the highest level of quality using automated reporting tools and processes.
    3. Actively identify best practices and ensure that these are shared with the rest of the team and documented as part of standard operating procedures
  • Governance
    1. Sustainable RegOps service, able to meet the needs of future demand in an efficient and effective manner
    2. Proactive RegOps service that is positioned to help drive regulatory agenda in the market place

JOB DESCRIPTION Job Responsibilities: Management and Governance Forums Reporting – Support all aspects of the controls monthly reporting process to meet the local and global reporting deadlines. This includes coordinating the preparation of governance decks; taking care of meeting logistics, minutes, etc.; and preparing monthly scorecards and metrics that will be reviewed in Senior Management and governance and controls forums.  Metrics – Act as lead for the metrics that are owned and overseen by the team, including managing required changes to the metrics.  This involves end-to-end development and automation of metrics, in partnership with Product Owner and Technology teams. Lead metrics generation and analysis, coordinating relevant stakeholders input for explaining key variations and related issues.  Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for metrics generation / execution processes and keep documentation updated to reflect any subsequent changes. Furthermore, you will liaise with GRCC Controls Solution team and LOBs to identify data anomalies, conduct deep dive on potential issues, and participate in review meetings with LOBs.  Controls Testing – Work in partnership with the GRCC teams to co-ordinate with LOBs the execution of regular controls testing.    Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities: Required Qualification  Leadership & Partnership –  Able to operate across businesses and functions to drive deliveries within internal and external deadlines with minimal supervision. You will be working in alignment with EMEA (London) working hours.  Communication – Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to interact with senior management as required. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.  Experience in preparing presentations for senior management forums. Strong experience in preparing analysis to be reviewed in governance and risk and controls forums.  Quantitative and problem solving – Ability to demonstrate innovation, good judgement and problem-solving skills when making decisions.  Experience in designing, documenting, and implementing metrics to assist LOBs to track performance, identify areas of risk, and provide information to management. Capacity to think laterally, understand the big picture, and explore strategic and tactical solutions.  Execution – End-to-end ownership of tasks and proactively working to a solution.
