The Manager of Operations Finance will be a leader in driving financial and operational performance of the business.  Further, the Manager will engage with leaders across the organization and maintain a high level of integration with operations executives and regional leadership.  As a member of this team, the position will have exposure to all aspects of the division’s business model and be immersed in the rapidly growing value-based care vertical of the healthcare industry.   This specific opening is at naviHealth, a part of Optum Home & Community. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Oversee, synthesize, and present insightful monthly financial and operations performance results reporting for executive, finance, and operations leadership
  • Support operations executive and regional leadership
  • Frequently engage with operations executives and regional leaders to review, analyze, and recommend performance plans for business operations
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of detailed bottoms-up operational and financial forecast and budget models for each region and client that inform near-term and long-term business initiatives
  • Drive and lead proactive ad hoc analyses for operations, finance, and solutions leadership
  • Work closely with the CFO, Vice President, and operations leadership to deliver accurate and informative analyses to the organization
  • Manage team of Operations Finance analysts

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on quantitative coursework
  • 4+ years of work experience in financial planning & analysis or a similar function
  • Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to synthesize and present complex information
  • Proven extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Proven robust financial modeling skills 
  • Work a hybrid schedule in Brentwood, TN office

  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Master’s of Business Administration
  • Public Accounting experience
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Healthcare experience, especially familiarity with value-based care
  • Proven excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels
  • Demonstrated excellent work ethic and must be proactive/self-starter that works well independently

*$21.50 per hour Position operates one or multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment. This may include moving raw material handling to the production line, and/or filling, capping, sealing, labeling or packaging product. Removes damaged products or supplies, as needed. Position responsible for production, package, and flavor changeovers. Maintains required product inspection processes. Performs basic troubleshooting and minor repairs to ensure production equipment runs efficiently. Position requires lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling cases weighing 20-45 pounds per case repeatedly over a long work period. This position requires walking or standing most of the time during the shift and may include stooping, crawling and crouching over and under conveyors.
