Opportunities are available in the following areas depending on interest and abilities:

  • Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Treasury
  • Capital Planning
  • Budgeting

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and report on financials
  • Assist in the development of program forecasts, budgets, and plans
  • Research economic progressions to assist with the organization’s financial planning
  • Create annual budget templates
  • Prepare spreadsheets to effectively show financial results and financial forecasts

Required Qualifications:  

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a major in finance from an accredited college/university during the duration of the internship. Internships are not intended for graduating seniors
  • 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and leadership potential
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated presentation skills

WHAT YOU GET TO DO: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including variance analysis, financial modeling, and profitability analysis, to support key business initiatives and strategic planning efforts. Analyze cost drivers, cost structures, and cost allocation methodologies to identify areas for cost optimization and operational efficiency. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor analysis to provide relevant financial insights and recommendations.   Desired Skills Additional Experience •             Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. •             0-4 years of experience in a similar role •             Ability to learn SAP is needed, prior SAP experience is a plus. •             One Stream and/or Hyperion experience is a plus. •             Excellent soft skills, including collaboration, being part of a high performing team, being curious and open, and being able to manage conflict collaboratively and openly •             Strong analytical and problem-solving skills •             Excellent communication and interpersonal skills •             Customer-focused with an adaptability to different personality types. •             Ability to set priorities and manage time effectively. •             Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes. •             Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. •             Energetic, self-motivated, and able to prioritize workload.
