Responsibilities

 

·       Own the end-to-end sample file process for our CX relationship and journey surveys.

·       Design and implement data models, schemas, and ETL processes using various tools and technologies.

·       To have a systematic approach to plan, create, and maintain data architecture while also keeping it aligned with business requirements.

·       Optimize and monitor the performance, reliability, and availability of data pipelines and systems.

·       Work towards identifying data patterns and trends in our customer data to aide opportunities to streamline, standardize and improve processes.

·       Create predictive models to apply forecasting techniques to learn about the future with actionable insights.

·       To own and maintain MDS (my data space) on snowflakes/data lake ensuring smooth integration and flow of the data to-and-fro from CEM platform.

·       To dive into data and pinpoint tasks where manual participation can be eliminated with automation.

·       Partner across our team and with our CX vendors to understand, troubleshoot and implement changes as needed (such as back-tracking hard coded queries, reverse engineering, sampling issues, timelines to delivery, etc.)

·       Support data analysis and reporting by providing data access, tools, and documentation.

·       Research and evaluate new data technologies and best practices to improve data engineering processes and solutions.

·       Develop a deep understanding of the technology platform(s) to prepare sample files for customer surveys.

·       Be curious. Ask questions. Challenge the status quo. Look for ways to do things differently and continue to drive improvements in our customer experience.

 

Skills & Qualifications

·       Experience working with database management systems (EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse), Snowflake, Data Lake, Oracle Database) required.

·       Understanding of various enterprise solutions for Customers, Contacts, Products etc.

·       4+ years’ experience in various aspects of data engineering or related roles

·       Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

·       Knowledge of ELT tool Alteryx or similar tool for data manipulation and transformation.

·       Proficient in SQL and Python and familiar with other programming languages

·       Experience with data quality, testing, and security frameworks and tools

·       Experienced with data analytics, data mining, and data cleansing activities.

·       Ability to work well under pressure with a proactive approach, including managing multiple deadlines and changing project scope/direction.

·       Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

·       Must be willing to challenge the status quo and continually seek more information both to ensure understanding, and to drive improvements.

Primary Responsibilities: You are fit for the role of a Senior Technical Business Analyst Engineering role if you have: Basic qualifications: Candidates should have Minimum 5 to 10 Years. Remote management of Windows systems located in various datacenters across the world Level 3 – Windows systems administration Recovering incidents, implementing changes, participate in strategic projects System upgrades such as firmware, OS, application, and security patch evaluation and deployment Coordination with hardware vendors for hardware related issues Providing support and assisting other groups in problem resolution. Communicate status updates on incident resolution, Change execution and projects as appropriate.   Required competencies:   Technical Extensive (4+ years L3) Windows systems administration experience. Windows server OS knowledge: Windows 2019, Windows 2016, Windows 2012. Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions and tools, including working knowledge of high availability (failover) clustering. Working knowledge involving volumes from SAN and NAS and clear understanding of CIFS. Understanding of iSCSI and Fiber Channel Experience with snapshot technologies such as NetApp Snapshots and SnapDrive Hands on experience in resolving system performance issues, root cause analysis and complex problems. Hands on experience with server hardware: HP & Dell Rack mount and Blade servers. Experience with enterprise patch management systems such as IBM Endpoint Manager (IEM). Scripting experience in PowerShell will be an added advantage. Basics understanding of VMWare Virtualization technology.   Non-technical Must have worked in an ITIL compliant environment, worked with change control, incident mitigation, knowledge and problem management processes Analytical, organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines Must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, strong communication and documentation skills. Work hours:  – 24*7 rotation including night shifts (9pm – 6am), shifts rotated on a monthly basis, total night shift not to exceed 50% of total months in a calendar year.
