We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Funds Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing daily operations related to broking funds. You will handle activities such as client and exchange level funds payin/payout, client's deposit and withdrawals reconciliation, client's allocation process, accounting of entries, exchange level reporting, and more. Additionally, you will be responsible for communicating with exchanges, auditors, and inter-connected teams, optimizing processes, preparing SOPs/checklists/flows, and submitting audits/inspections data. The ideal candidate should have more than 5 years of broking operations (funds) experience, a collaborative approach, clear communication skills, attention to detail, logical understanding of processes, and a good understanding of financial accounting. Strong team management and process streamlining skills are also required for this role.

Role and responsibilities

1. Execution and Managing Funds Operations Team (Broking) for daily BAU activities, i.e.

o Client & Exchange level Funds Payin/Payout

o Client’s Deposit and Withdrawals reconciliation on the transaction level

o Client’s Allocation process on N-MASS

o Accounting of Entries

o Exchange level reporting, i.e.

  • Enhanced Risk Based Supervision
  • Client’s Cash and Cash Equivalent
  • Bank-level cash balance
  • Client’s Segregation
  • Client’s shortage allocation
  • Client’s Margin reporting (EQ/FO)

o Banks and General Ledger Reconciliations

o Trial Balance preparation and scrutiny

2. Communications with Exchange/Auditors/Inter-connected Teams

3. Process Optimisation/Automation

4. Preparation of Process SOPs/Checklists/Flows

5. Submitting Audits/Inspections data requirements

Job Requirement

- Must have Broking Operations (Funds) experience of more than 5 years
- Collaborative approach, clear on communication, eye on details and logical understanding/aerial view of the process
- Good understanding of financial accounting
- Team management & process streamlining experience
