Your key responsibilities

 

The portfolio of work spans Investment Bank encompassing functionality to be built across functional taxonomy (transactional and payments regulatory reporting).

In line with the responsibility, the candidate will

 

  • Act as subject matter expert on behalf of the business to assist in requirements setting for strategic initiatives
  • Lead in identifying business and regulatory needs/requirements for the Investment bank (FX, Rates and Credit) and Corporate Bank (Lending, Trade Financing and Payments)
  •  
  • Work with Compliance and operations across Investment and Corporate Bank to understand Industry regulations governing the business practises and provide solutions enabling business compliance in a timely manner
  • Engage with external financial industry regulatory bodies such as ISDA, DTCC as needed on regulatory consultations/interpretations
  • Work with business, development, and QA teams to deliver high quality solutions in a very timely manner
  • Determine Strategic Solutions / Proposals - focusing on long term efficiency, risk reduction and regulatory compliance
  • Participate in design reviews, including providing feedback on solution architecture and design issues
  • Creating and maintaining project plans, and capture deviations as they occur, mitigate risks that impact short term plan

 

Your skills and experience

  • 12+ years’ experience in project deliveries and business analysis within investment bank and/or major financial services firm.
  • Strong knowledge of trade lifecycle and/or settlement process in Investment Bank (Foreign Exchange, OTC derivatives, Fixed Income, Repos, Money Markets, Equity Derivatives) or Corporate Bank (Cash Management, Trade Finance, Lending)
  • Experience in transactional/valuation/position reporting needed for clients or regulatory bodies required
  • In-depth experience with review and solution of derivatives reporting regimes (ESMA, CFTC, MAS, ASIC, HKMA) or industry wide initiatives (MIFID2 or CSDR) preferred  
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with exposure to senior stakeholders desired
  • Experience with the Agile framework or working in Agile teams

 

Education

Masters or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in analytical subject matter, Finance, Mathematics or Engineering preferred
