JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Duties: Administer and troubleshoot production databases. Responsible for shifts and on-call schedules and other runtime tasks like patching and optimization and for online issue troubleshooting. Manage complex ticket requests. Implement database optimization and non-standard changes including object reorganization and compression. Develop automation tools to perform tasks automatically. Improve existing proprietary tools and monitor and fix automation tool issues. Provide support to other teams of the company on requests related to Data and Infrastructure. Meet with stakeholders and provide solutions to their problems. Create workflows to address business needs.  Telecommuting permitted - work may be performed from anywhere in the US.

 

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a closely related field plus five years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Base Salary: $159,598-205,700 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
