APAC Payroll Analyst (Gurgaon)
The Expedia Global Payroll Team is looking for an International Payroll Analyst to join the team based in Gurgaon to support APAC Payroll. As an ambassador for data accuracy and integrity, you will independently manage an employee's payroll experience for several countries of APAC region from beginning to end with the full accountability and ownership to progress your career. The roles will be working in a dynamic and constantly changing environment. You will help align to global standards and execute of corporate strategies with an expectation to make suggestions to simplify and improve current processes. The customer will always be at the core of your thought process, and you will be driven to make things better and more user-friendly for our staff whilst maintain the global standards. Who you are:
Proven experience of 3-5 years in managing APAC Payroll (India, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia etc.)
Proven ability to appropriately handle sensitive information required. Must have a high degree of accuracy and a customer-service approach. Must demonstrate a knack for navigating in an ambiguous environment.
Responsible for End-to-End payroll process.
Strong understanding of Tax, Social Insurance, Employment Law and Regulatory Practices in relevant countries Responsible for End-to-End payroll process.
High School Diploma or Industry recognized Qualification/equivalent experience
Intermediate - advanced use of Office applications (Excel/Outlook)
Ability to manage Internal and External Audit requests escalating any concerns and questions that arise
What you’ll do:
Work on different platforms like Workday, ServiceNow, CloudPay, etc.
Manage day to day responsibilities through the payroll cycle with full accountability and ownership
Responsible for compliance adherence in countries you support
Handle escalations of employee queries through ServiceNow tickets with an expectation to provide a high caliber service to employees utilizing consistent global standards
Handle escalations from stakeholders/employees, including senior leadership on issues related to Payroll
Build a strong and collaborative relationship with HR and Finance colleagues in relation the countries you support
Generate and act on reports from Service Now, Workday and Cloudpay.
Work with a continuous improvement mindset
Preparation, review and maintenance of SOP’s, Guidelines and Checklist for all payroll related processes
Ensure high levels of accuracy of payroll results whilst identifying, documenting, and escalating all issues in relation to payroll or data quality and timeliness
Support local, regional, and global payroll teams on projects related to Payroll.
Vendor Management - Proactively manage payroll related vendors, ensuring productive and transparent relationship.
Work with Audit & Compliance teams when required in supporting audits and compliance reviews.
