This role will also extend to working with partners on new product evaluations and recommendations. In this role you will: design, influence and develop consolidated user experiences with Salesforce Lightning, help determine the Workday GTM portfolio of tools in partnership with business leaders and work with the Platform, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Services, Support and Finance Go To Market teams.
About You
The ideal candidate will have direct hands-on experience leading full lifecycle application development on the Salesforce platform, optimizing for performance, resolving critical incidents and leading environment and release functions.

Basic Qualifications
- 12+ years software development experience, with at least 5 years as a direct or indirect people leader, building applications and features in large-scale codebases
- 8+ years of experience developing Salesforce Apex Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com APIs, Algorithms and data structures, and Web Services
- 8+ years of industry experience as a Salesforce.com developer or architect
- Bachelors of Science in Computer Science or related field
- Built Salesforce integrations using scripted data loader, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware
- Extensive experience researching, designing, developing, demonstrating and testing high quality functional and marketing prototypes and end-to-end solutions on the SFDC platform, based on industry best practices as well as business needs
- Experience successfully implementing and deploying AppExchange products
Other Qualifications
- Salesforce Technical Architect certification is highly preferred
- Referenceable examples producing effective solution designs to meet business requirements
- Applied experience in Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs.
- Experience delivering full lifecycle implementations on Salesforce Service Cloud (preferred experience delivering three or more full life cycle implementations)
- Demonstrated track record designing, configuring, customizing and implementing applications and 3rd party integrations
- Proven ability to successfully interface with business analysts and technical staff, taking overall responsibility for delivering complete work products
- History researching integration issues and working closely with team members on operations and staff development
- Multiple case examples proving ability to solve complex business problems and develop solutions
- Background demonstrating in-depth knowledge of, and experience in, object-oriented design and development
- Complete development lifecycle testing and test automation (functional, regression, performance, integration, etc.)
- Administration and Automation of CI/CD tasks applying tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Flosum, Opsera, etc.
- Vendor technology evaluation and management
- Clearly articulate ideas in user-friendly language and visual presentation to build agreement across non-technical staff and up to senior leaders
- Unique combination of being business-minded and highly analytical while also having a strong and deep technical background in Salesforce.com
