The candidate will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements, extracting the customer’s problem into an abstract virtual system that can be simulated in SaberHDL simulator, develop supporting simulation models in MAST/VHDL-AMS/C modeling language in different physical domains such as electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical, etc... The candidate will also be responsible for developing examples for power electronics applications to demonstrate the features/strength of SaberRD product. The candidate will also be required to maintain the existing SaberHDL model library by fixing bugs, adding new features to existing models and improving model robustness to solve simulation convergence. Key Qualifications Exceptional background in electrical and electronics engineering. Excellent background in numerical analysis methods. Experience developing simulation models in Spice/Verilog/Vhdl language. Experience developing simulation models in MAST/VHDL-AMS/C is a plus. Experience developing models in different physical domains such as electrical, electronics, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulics is a plus. Excellent track record of building high quality models and ability to deliver on schedule. Ability to read and write code in C/C++ is desirable. Exposure to scripting languages is desirable. Desire to learn and explore new technologies. Demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills. Solid oral and written communication skills. Ability to work both independently and as a team. Experience developing within an Agile Scrum framework. Ability to interact with other members of Synopsys R&D, provide customer support as necessary, understand customer needs and product goals. 5+ years of related work experience Education B.S/M.S/Ph.D Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Computer Engineering required.
