TABILITIES

  • Provide timely and accurate legal entity and branch Non tech accounting, controlling and reporting tasks according to internal guidelinregulatory and Group requirements, including closing and reporting of defined entities
  • Ensure timely booking of accruals, payroll, fixed assets, tax bookings, intercompany recharges, and other non-technical accountingactivities
  • Support financial controlling of selected entities with focus on group requirements (payable/receivable signoffs, reconciliations for theaccounts under the ownership, and related tasks)
  • Provide accurate financial information to the management to enable timely and current decisions to be made
  • Financial reporting to local tax teams
  • Ensure compliance with the risk and control framework and the audit requirements
  • Support audit activities and prepare requested information
  • Participate and support Finance related projects and perform ad hoc tasks as required
  • Identify and evaluate process improvement possibilities

  • Provide cover for other roles in the team
  • Any other ad hoc tasks as required

 

KEY SKILLS

  • 6+ years of work experience in General accounting, reconciliations monthly/Quarterly closing or financial reporting
  • Professional degree (MBA/CA/CFA Preferred) in Accounting and/or University degree in the area of finance, accounting, economics osimilar
  • Profound knowledge regarding accounting policies and regulatory frameworks
  • Understanding of accounting cycle financial reporting processes, risk, and controls
  • Experience in USGAAP/IFRS desirable
  • Adherence to deadlines and ability to work on own initiative and time pressure is a must
  • Experience on SAP is must, should have Good comprehension of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Roles and Responsibilities :   Payroll processing: Process bi-weekly payroll for all employees from Employee Records/Data base and other related sources. Manage tax and withholding records and deductions for all federal, state, local or other corporate taxes that affect payroll amounts. Set up each individual new hire with all the necessary forms, including direct deposit requests, wage verification, I-9 information, and W-4 reports. Produce yearly employee withholding tax reports in a timely fashion to ensure all employees are able to prepare their taxes without delay. Answer questions regarding pay checks, withholding tax issues or wage adjustments from employees and help troubleshoot possible issues with pay. Follow and calculate all outside wage garnishment requests or judgments when required on an individual’s paycheck. Compliance Statutory compliances with respect to 401K, Social Security,  FICA, FLSA, FUTA  and other related compliances. Preparation and Co-ordination with  auditors and ensures smooth completion of audits related to payroll.
