AS A REGIONAL CATEGORY LEADER, YOU WILL: 

  • Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for the casting commodity, focusing on cost optimization, supplier performance, quality, and delivery
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with agreed-upon terms and conditions
  • Drive operational efficiency by identifying process improvements, streamlining workflows, and implementing best practices across the supply chain
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, develop inventory strategies, and ensure timely availability of castings to meet production requirements
  • Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including disruptions, geopolitical risks, quality issues, and capacity constraints, to minimize the impact on operations
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor supplier performance, evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies, and drive continuous improvement
  • Work closely with counterparts in other world areas to align global strategy, share best practices, and ensure consistency in sourcing processes and supplier management

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or other related field 
  • 7+ years of experience in supply chain management 
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful sourcing strategies, achieving cost savings, and driving operational excellency 
  • Strong understanding of processes; including strategic sourcing, supplier management, inventory management, and logistics 
  • Negotiation skills and experience in contract management 
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and work collaboratively with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
