Profile for Manager Audit & Regulatory Compliance – Credit Risk

Qualifications: Chartered Accountant  

Work Experience: 10 to 15 years of experience working in the Credit Risk function of any Financial Institution/Bank handling ECL related matters under IFRS 9, regulatory reporting to NHB/RBI and handling statutory auditors / regulators.

Job Description:

  • Assisting in developing models and tools to estimate collectability, loan loss and loss given Defaults under Indian Accounting Standards (IndAS)
  • Handling assignments in computation of NPA/ provisioning and in regulatory reporting.
  • Interpretation of RBI/NHB circulars & working on regulatory reports.
  • Co-ordinating with IT team for system automation by developing modules for computation of Expected credit loss, loss given default and Probability of default as per Indian Accounting Standard 109
  • Co-ordinating within internal departments and Internal auditors for various Internal controls and testing audit.

JOB DESCRIPTION Role Description This is key vertical within the CB CFO team which is responsible for assisting senior management in analysing and reviewing Bank’s performance both qualitatively and quantitatively. The team also supports them in taking decisions regarding the business, considering performance analysis, industry trends, regulatory outlook and other factors by providing meaningful Cost financial analysis supported with observations/commentaries on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. The role involves providing cost related MIS and advanced analytics of CB businesses, partner with onshore analytics and business managers/COOs for Cost Strategy and Analytics. Support the business and enhance total shareholder return by effective cost control measures. Position also entails decision support, management reporting, Planning & forecasting for businesses within CB. Working on cost related analytics, allocations, restatements, deep dives and support for the CB Business Management community on a day-to-day basis.
