Your day at NTT DATA

The Associate Software Development Engineer is an entry level subject matter expert, tasked with assisting with designing, developing, and testing software systems, modules, or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools.

This role is accountable for assisting with for detailed design for certain modules/sub-systems, doing prototype for multi-vendor infrastructure, and showcasing it internally or externally to clients.

This role designs and develops functionality in a micro-services environment working with APIs, telemetry data, and running ML/AI algorithms on it, working with both structured and unstructured data.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow, including at least 2 years working with the CSM module.
  • Implement and customize ServiceNow CSM applications to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow Agents using Agent Builder and Virtual Agent technologies.
  • Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.) and UI customizations.
  • Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations with external systems.
  • Configure and enhance case management, workflows, knowledge management, and customer service portals in ServiceNow CSM.
  • Integrate ServiceNow CSM with other ITSM, CRM, and third-party applications.
  • Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of ServiceNow CSM solutions.
  • Design and develop ServiceNow virtual agents using custom scripts and configurations.
  • Analyze business needs to develop agent workflows that improve efficiency and user interaction.
  • Continuously enhance agent capabilities based on evolving business requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to ensure smooth deployment and usage of ServiceNow applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow platform-related issues.
