The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Hands-on-Developing.
  • Contributing to SW architecture definition
  • Detailed design based on OOAD and patterns. 
  • Creating Implementation proposals & design documents
  • Full life cycle SDLC
  • Hands on coding and debugging ability - Interactions with global teams (product management, multisite development teams)
  • Investigate new technologies.
  • Understand systems engineering, interface points. And software quality factors
  • Work towards process compliance in the project.

Responsibilities for this exciting role will include: Expertise in C/C++, Linux Development, Performance Engineering. Hands-on Experience in Application/System Profiling Utilities like Vtune, Nvidia Nsight, Linux native utilities Design, implementation & support of high-performance compute clusters. Good knowledge on HPC systems, including CPU/GPU architecture, scalable/robust storage, high-bandwidth inter-connects, and a knowledge of cloud based computing architectures. Use their strong skills with the Linux OS to tune applications for Low latency and high throughput. Qualifications/Education Desired Attitude: Looking for individuals who are inquisitive, thrives on challenge, enjoy problem solving and have excellent written & verbal skills. Required Qualifications: C/C++/Multi-threading/Inter-process communication in Linux environment Performance engineering, profiling and tuning applications/systems for high performance.
