Job Description - Cybersecurity Risk Analyst Intern

Job Description:

As a risk analyst intern you will support the Airbus Corporate Cybersecurity team in ensuring our organization adheres to cybersecurity policies, frameworks, and regulatory requirements. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in the field, gaining practical experience in risk management, compliance, and governance while contributing to the development and maintenance of our information security programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Governance & Risk Framework Support: Contribute to the development and implementation of frameworks, processes, and tools to identify and classify cybersecurity risks across the organization, ensuring consistent risk governance practices.
  • Compliance Assistance: Aware of industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and internal policies and support the team in ensuring organisational alignment with the regulatory standards.(e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.).
  • Documentation & Reporting: Assist in the preparation of compliance reports, security risk reports, and documentation of the process.
  • Risk Assessment: Participate in information security risk assessments and help document and track findings.
  • Stakeholder Management: Support internal teams in understanding and addressing risk management processes, helping gather necessary information to drive effective risk mitigation and remediation efforts.
  • Risk Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of risk management processes and tools to increase efficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • A recent graduate or postgraduate with a background in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of information security and risk management processes and familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and regulatory standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify risks, and provide solutions with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative team player, able to work effectively in a team environment and learn from experienced professionals.
