Job Description: As a cybersecurity analyst intern you will support the Airbus Corporate Cybersecurity team in protecting the organization's infrastructure, networks, data from cyber threats and also supporting various cybersecurity functions, including vulnerability management, vulnerability intelligence, risk management, scanning, and managing cybersecurity-related data. You will have the opportunity to build hands-on experience in the cybersecurity industry while working alongside professionals in the field. Key Responsibilities: Vulnerability Management Support: Assist in identifying, assessing, and prioritizing security vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and assets by conducting regular security scans, analysing scan results, documenting findings and tracking remediation efforts. Vulnerability Intelligence: Gather, analyze, and interpret vulnerability data from sources like CVE databases and threat feeds, while supporting the creation of intelligence reports to inform stakeholders about emerging threats and vulnerabilities. Risk Management: Support risk assessments by analyzing vulnerabilities and security threats, track risk metrics, and help develop and update strategies for mitigating and managing cybersecurity risks across the organization. Data Management & Reporting: Support in collecting and analyzing cybersecurity data to identify risks, develop reporting dashboards, and document security incidents and vulnerabilities, ensuring accurate records for internal and external reporting. General Cybersecurity Support: Assist with ad-hoc cybersecurity tasks, participate in team meetings, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and collaborate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity initiatives are effectively executed. Qualifications: A recent graduate or postgraduate with a background in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. A foundational understanding of key cybersecurity concepts, including the CIA triad (confidentiality, integrity, availability), threat actors, attack vectors, security protocols (e.g., encryption, firewalls), tools, frameworks, and regulatory standards, along with common security practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify risks, and provide solutions with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative team player, able to work effectively in a team environment and learn from experienced professionals.
