Job Requirement

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of cyber defense strategies to safeguard organizational assets against cyber threats.
  • Monitor and analyze security alerts and events to identify potential security incidents or vulnerabilities.
  • Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to assess the effectiveness of existing security controls.
  • Assist in incident response activities, including investigating security incidents and implementing remediation measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with cybersecurity best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Document processes, procedures, and findings to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Familiarity with network security technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience with cybersecurity tools and frameworks, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Previous experience in cyber defense roles or internships is preferred.

  • This role requires on-site presence at our Bangalore office

Key Responsibilities: Governance & Risk Framework Support:  Contribute to the development and implementation of frameworks, processes, and tools to identify and classify cybersecurity risks across the organization, ensuring consistent risk governance practices. Compliance Assistance:  Aware of industry standards, regulatory frameworks, and internal policies and support the team in ensuring organisational alignment with the regulatory standards.(e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, etc.). Documentation & Reporting:  Assist in the preparation of compliance reports, security risk reports, and documentation of the process. Basic understanding of information security and risk management processes and familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, frameworks, and regulatory standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify risks, and provide solutions with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative team player, able to work effectively in a team environment and learn from experienced professionals.
