Job Description

Our Team

PMAR Performance Squad - focused on aggregating fund, benchmark, and composite performance data from a variety of business critical historic and current sources such as State Street, Australia & India Retail, Vestmark SMA, PAMS - SBV, Lipper and Morningstar to provide an accurate picture of performance across multiple time periods and multiple currencies. Encompassing standard industry calculation methodologies as well as regional and market specific calculation methodologies, daily and monthly gross and net returns are calculated for Retail and Institutional product ranges and represented for longer periods all the way back to inception. The solution provides a fully integrated source of performance data across GIPS and Non-GIPS Performance composites, Portfolios, Mutual Fund Classes, Exchange Traded Funds etc.

 

  • Work within a team of software developers and business analysts focused to deliver technical solutions to business partners
  • Complete all tasks related to technical analysis, building and unit testing, quality assurance, system test and implementation in accordance with the IT development life cycle.
  • Conform to documentation, coding and quality standards as defined.
  • Understand architecture of applications in order to effectively troubleshoot problems and develop more efficient production processes.
  • Prepare for and support user acceptance testing.
  • Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems.
  • Handle escalations from the support teams
  • Provide on call support for systems based on agreed coverage timeframe

 

WORK EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE: 

  • 0 – 3 years of experience in Technology Industry.
  • Very strong Programming fundamentals
  • Working with AWS, Snowflake, Oracle and Python

FORMAL EDUCATION: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)

  • Masters in Computer Science or other similar advanced degrees from IIT, IIIT and NIT

WORKING CONDITIONS: 

  • Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust and temperatures 
  • The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary
  • Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment
  • Work hours will be from 11:30AM to 8:30 PM IST and may include evenings and/or weekends
