Solutions Delivery-Canada is an integral part of the Information Technology Services group. The principle focus of this organization is the development and maintenance of technology solutions that e-enable the delivery of Function and Marketplace Services and Management Information Systems.
Solutions Delivery Canada develops and maintains solutions built on varied technologies like Siebel, PeopleSoft Microsoft technologies and Lotus Notes. Solutions Delivery Canada has various groups which provide the best of the breed solutions to the clients by following a streamlined system development methodology. Solutions Delivery Canada comprises of groups like Usability, Application Architecture, Development and Quality Assurance and Performance.
Join a team that works on technical implementation of the requirements gathered from business for PeopleSoft applications. Get a chance to work with the product team, internal stakeholders to understand, gather information, synthesize findings into business / functional requirements and design documents. Act as a point of contact for small enhancements & defect fixes.
Work you’ll do
As a team member, you will
· Demonstrate a working understanding of quality assurance and/or software development processes and methodologies, with the ability to share that knowledge with peers and project team members
· Work with developers, onsite project lead, business analyst to understand technology, business strategy and their implication for solutions
· Responsible for the execution of test scenarios in support of the test team.
· Should be able to work on a project independently with minimal inputs from test or development lead
· Familiarize themselves with the business functionality and technology used for assigned applications (under test)
· Work closely with on-site team towards successful test phases
· Should be able to provide the test updates as part of daily stand up calls
· Should be able to bring up the risks effectively if any from QA team standpoint
· Work with team to isolate conditions for repeating found bugs and verifying fixed bugs
· Ensure the quality and low bug rates of code released into production
· Responsible for successful execution and alerting team leads and managers of obstacles, issues and risks
· Responsible for coordinating/engaging build movements to the QA environment as directed by Team Lead
· Effectively implement and utilize test method tools in a timely manner consistent with project deadlines
· Demonstrates a working understanding of the defect and change management process
· Able discuss status of all open issues facing the test team and describes actions taken to mitigate such issues
· Prepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities
· Interact with Onsite SD (Canada) Analysts and Project Managers to understand business needs
· Interact with India SD Offshore Manager/Test Lead for project coordination, ensure process standardization and alignment with Onsite SD counterparts.
Work Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
