Job description
Overall purpose of role: o Work on projects & tech on developing highly scalable application o Design and develop Micro services, GUI, Server components o Implement Functional solutions, unit test & coordinate releases and where applicable contribute to design sessions. o Interact with end users & product owner to understand their requirements and build solution pertaining to that. o Work as a part of a local team and liaise regularly with colleagues in other regions. o Provide support to for the applications BAU work as needed.
Key Accountabilities and Skills required: o Strong application & development skills, including multi-threaded programming and SQL experience. o Ability to effectively communicate with end-users and other developers in a global, team-based environment o Strong inter-personal skills with ability to communicate thoughts, designs, and implementations in both written and verbal form o Results-oriented, self-starter with positive "can-do" attitude
Purpose of the role
To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.
Accountabilities
- Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
- Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
- Collaboration with peers, participation in code reviews, and promotion of a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
- Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.
