Today tax users spend too much time searching for accurate tax data across multiple applications, running & maintaining complex workflows and on manual manipulation before it can be used for tax and compliance activities. These data delays reduce valuable time which tax team can utilize for tax related activities like evaluating the returns, running the tax data simulation or drawing analytical insights for value-added decision making.

Tax data storage is also a challenge for tax departments who often store tax data in multiple disparate spreadsheets and systems which increases the risk of errors. Equipped to handle large data sets, our platform helps provide greater connectivity so that users can spend less time on tax data manipulation and more time on tax data analytics.

  • Through this role you have an opportunity to develop world class application that meets and exceeds the needs of the business and the company.
  • You also get to collaborate with team members to develop best practices and technical requirements for the software.
  • Design and develop highly scalable business application using open stack technologies.
  • Work with upstream and downstream development teams to be represented in business application.
  • Collaborate with 4ITB(Engineering, Product, Business, UX) team for better product development.
  • Interact with Walmart engineering teams across geographies to leverage expertise and contribute to the tech community.
  • You will also be required to seek ways to improve the software and its effectiveness.
  • You will be called upon to support the coaching and training of other team members to ensure all employees are confident in the use of software applications.

 

What you'll bring:

  • An Engineering Degree - B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA/MBA in any stream – Computer Science preferred.
  • 0 to 1 year of experience in Data engineering and frontend Development.
  • Programming experience in Java, ReactJS, Node JS any other frontend technologies.
  • Good understanding of Data Structure and Algorithm, Design patterns.
  • Knowledge of any cloud (Preferably GCP).
  • Basic understanding of code/design reviews, process and tools.
  • Understanding of basic Finance Business Functions and Financial Reporting.
