Calix is looking for a marketing intern to join its field marketing team. As a marketing intern, you will be responsible for program managing key initiatives including our executive engagement programs. This involves managing and updating executive engagement status, identifying and flagging missing and open items, communicating with key stakeholders and ensuring the smooth running of the programs. You will also help with the creation and management of a customer success story library. This includes finding and inventorying current success stories, working with the content team to update them into a standard format, as well as uploading and tagging them into the case study library. You will work with the teams to identifying and create new case studies to fill gaps that are To be a successful marketing intern, you should have a master’s or bachelor’s degree (in progress) in marketing, communication, or related field, and be proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM and other marketing tools. You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, organization, and proactivity, and the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization. You should be a team player who is willing and able to work in close collaboration with others to reach goals. The marketing intern position is based in Bengaluru, India, and follows a hybrid work model of 3-4 days in office and the rest remotely.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Serve as program manager for key Field Marketing initiatives including:
- Executive Sponsor program
- Executive Briefing program
- Broadband Academy/Marketing Academy updates
- Responsibilities include managing and updating executive engagement status, identifying and flagging missing and open items, communicating with key stakeholders and overall management of key details to ensure that these programs run successfully.
- Assist with the creation and management of a customer success story library, to include:
- Finding and inventorying current customer success stories.
- Working with the content team to update existing success stories into a standard format.
- Uploading and tagging case studies into the case study library.
- Identifying gaps in the existing case studies
- Helping to track down and create new case studies to fill those gaps.
Qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree (in progress) in marketing, communication, or related field graduatng in 2023 or 2024
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM and other marketing tools.
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
- Strong individual contributor with excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Team Orientation - Willingness and ability to work in close collaboration with others to reach goals, and subordinate personnel agendas and recognize team performance.
Tools:
