INFORMATION ABOUT THE BUSINESS

 

Global Spend Management-Analytics specializes in Data Warehousing and managing large data sets across multiple systems. Based on variety of data the team provides detailed analysis and visibility on Aon’s spend with 3rd Party, Real Estate, Travel, Expense, P2P MIS etc and also support globally on CBA, RFP, Pricing Models and evaluation of suppliers.

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

Incumbent would be responsible for managing on data ingestion, warehousing, and management. Any failures in data transmission must be addressed in a timely manner and ensure data is updated. To complete end-end activity the candidate must have knowledge on visualization tools lime Power Bi/Tableau.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop/Work with Engineering team on creating codes for daily data upload activity.
  • Evaluate completeness of data from all sources
  • Ensure daily and monthly tasks on data Management and Data Enrichment is carried out on time. Validate data accuracy and process
  • Work with internal teams to understand business goals, existing BI reports, KPIs, raw data sources and clarify visualization requirements
  • Identify key business metrics measurements and develop ways to represent data in support of measurements 
  • Collaborate on requirement gathering and documentation of key reporting metrics
  • Develop Tableau dashboards as per business requirement and ensure updates are carried out in a timely manner
  • Research and reconcile data issues in reporting and provide recommendations to support the rationalization of current reporting inventory and establish future state reporting
  • Create high quality analytics/reports and translate them into value added decisions

 

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Extremely good to have knowledge on Python, Cloudera Data Sciences Workbench and R to enable Prescriptive Analysis and Forecasting
  • Must have strong experience in Reporting & Analytics
  • Must be strong in developing user friendly and interactive dashboards on Tableau, Microsites and Power Bi
  • Good Knowledge of Trifecta for data wrangling
  • Good Knowledge of Tableau Prep
  • Good knowledge on Procure 2 Pay process
  • Good knowledge of Ariba, Coupa (Data Structure, building reports) integration with other systems
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like Workday, PeopleSoft and Oracle
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other tools that facilitate the requirements gathering
