Main Responsibilities

 

Business Development

  • To effectively grow the business for instruments by identifying new leads and developing robust funnel in assigned territory
  • Ensure right mix of products being promoted across existing and new customers
  • Work in close co-ordination with service engineers/application specialist teams to provide superior after sales support to customers.

 

Customer Engagement

  • Act as the single point of contact and the face of BD for existing customer base in resolving queries or issues
  • Implementation of appropriate marketing programs and work with key contacts in each account to ensure implementation of best practices and drive media growth 
  • Working with KOLs in the area in carrying out training appropriate for the market/customer 

 

Channel Partner Management:  

  • Collection of data from market (Dynamics of market, Market Need & Competitor’s activity) and provide feedback to marketing from time to time 
  • Managing of both direct customer accounts and network of distributors for order procurement, timely collection of payment, secondary sales information and settlement of claims/dues etc  

 

Skills & Knowledge 

  • Ability to manage projects in Clinical, Research, & government set up that involve multiple stakeholders/work on rate contracting and capital equipment purchasing process 
  • Customer centric problem solving
  • Solution Selling - Presentation and Negotiation skills 
  • Analytical problem solving 
  • Persuasive Communication Skills  
  • Product/Technical knowledge in the field of Microbiology customers.
  • Take on additional responsibility in form of new projects / special tasks assigned on a need / time basis.
