About the Apprentice Role:

S&P global is looking to hire Non-tech young fresh graduates/postgraduates, only 2023 & 2024 Pass-outs for Apprenticeship for a duration for 11 months. This Program will enable the candidates to learn on the job from S&P Global’s experts which in turn will equip the candidates to become more skilled in today’s job market.

 

The Team: Doc. Sourcing team works like data factory to source documents to market intelligence teams. Team creates value to internal stakeholders through sourcing ESG related data.

We are looking for people who are passionate about research and would like to contribute in the ESG data set by utilizing internal & external public research sources. You will be part of most trending and growing team. Alongside you will gain valuable insights on upcoming ESG data base. You will deliver and maintain accurate, complete, and timely data sets while considering the business global interests and needs internally & externally

 

Responsibilities & Impact: Team creates value to internal stakeholders through sourcing ESG related data.

  • Process data (Financial or Non-Financial, depending on the process selected for) and apply it in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge
  • Collection, Standardization, and validation of corporate annual, semi-annual or quarterly financial reports from companies or third party sources
  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
  • Work within parameters and with limited supervision to ensure quality and performance is as per set standards.
  • Keeps up-to-date in knowledge of content sets. Builds industry knowledge by understanding industry trends and reporting standards
  • Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the covered content sets.
  • Troubleshoots problems or issues and provide support to the team.

What We’re Looking For:

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Non-tech fresh graduates/postgraduates i.e MBA /BBA / B.Com / M.Com /  B.Sc eco. / M.Sc Eco  (Year of passing 2023 and 2024 only)
  • Knowledge of corporate finance / accountancy i.e., financial statements, annual reports, Sustainability and ESG Concepts is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Willing to work in Hybrid work environment.
  • Well versed with Web Research and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the global Business environment, Databases, international/global Research sources and Content.
  • Ability to interact with many levels and to face and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner.
  • Good analytical and logical reasoning skills with Positive attitude towards work
  • Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness
  • Prior work experience in the field of ESG research, corporate sustainability or sustainability investing is an added advantage.

Different Cluster supports business lines like Security Management, People Data, Fundamentals (Industry, General Fundamentals), Estimates, Market Data, Filings & Sourcing, Translations and many more People Data Team: This team is focused on collecting Officers & Directors’ data from company-filed documents and websites, which is then published on our product. Engage in collecting and updating People Data for public and private companies worldwide, following established data collection procedures. Gain insights into various management structures across different companies and countries. Security Management Team: Security Management team aims to create an integrated risk management framework by interconnecting security reference identifiers. We work on product focused integration processes aimed at building a cross referenced framework which help create value for our clients. The team deals in ingestion of global reference identifiers from multiple vendors daily, along with running multiple checks on the database for various metrics. The team is also involved in resolving client issues with real time data corrections through vendor interactions. A section of the team is responsible for quality of the database by following sigma approach, making the database better than the industry standard. Public Ownership team: The ownership team’s main mission is to provide our clients through our platform with the most accurate data in a timely manner.
