Job description 

Duties & responsibilities

  • Responsible for leading and developing new Workday integrations and supporting the existing ones.
  • Create reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer and Workday Studio.
  • Work with Functional leads on major system upgrades, and projects (
  • Provide Tier III Support for Workday integration issues.
  • Supports Workday HCM including, but not limited to, researching and resolving HCM problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. This will include reporting activities, security reviews and adjustments as well as business process reviews and changes.
  • Facilitates system improvements to assist teammates perform their responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Identifies and understands issues while seeking new solutions and methods. Compares data from multiple sources to make conclusions with options. Takes action consistent with available information supported by testing. Collaborates with various customers and peers to develop solutions to accomplish project goals.
  • Writes, maintains and supports changing requirement documentation utilizing appropriate reporting tools and applications. Assist in development of reporting standards to meet current and future business requirements within a global organization.
  • Assists with the development of user procedures, guidelines and training documentation.

 

Key skills

  • Minimum of 6 years in Studio, Workday Payroll and HCM Implementation Experience
  • Integrated multiple systems and API calls Using Studio
  • Experience In Creating, testing and Debugging Payroll Interface and PECI
  • Expertise in creating EIBs, Core Connectors (Worker, Benefits), custom reports, and complex calculated fields.
  • Knowledgeable in Workday extend is a plus. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc)
  • Good knowledge of Workday Security.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills demonstrating ability to share and impart knowledge both in individual and group settings.
  • Ability to translate moderately complex systems concepts to non-technical users in a productive and supportive manner.
  • Ability to builds strong partnerships and identify opportunities and take action to work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of Workday Integrations with other SaaS and ERP applications is a plus

Requirements 

  • 8+ years of leading Workday projects and team. 
  • Able to demonstrate the creation of innovative solutions for complex Workday integrations
  • Project experience in a technical or techno-functional role on one or more ERP implementation projects using SOA tools (Workday Studio or other middleware platform)
  • Demonstrated proficiency with web service technologies (REST, JSON, SOAP, HTTP, SSL, PGP, SAML, etc)
  • B.A. / B.S., Management Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, computer science or other engineering discipline preferred
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities; able to communicate effectively with diverse people and individuals at various levels within the organization
  • Superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills
  • Outstanding Excel skills
  • Thrive on simultaneously operating at multiple levels and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, growing, ecosystem with minimal supervision
  • Able to work with a global organization
