Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Director - Corporate Strategy in Chennai.
Our team works closely with the Global CEO & Executive Leadership on key aspects of organizational strategy related to product, market, & competition. Our mission is to help corporate teams align with the company’s vision and goals.You will join a unit of high-caliber strategists, former management consultants, investment bankers, and industry experts who use data, insights and hypothesis-driven analytics to aid informed decision making.
This is a unique opportunity to bring your research, analytical and strategy acumen to drive immediate impact to a $26B global business. You will work with stakeholders across multiple functions such as sales and marketing, finance, manufacturing operations, M&A, sustainability and more.
What a typical day looks like:
- Work with a team of high performing managers and analysts on cross-industry market analyses that can assist in strategic planning processes and competitive strategy
- Scope, execute & manage complex analytical projects by establishing problem statements, crafting hypotheses, forming cohesive insights on opportunities & risks, and providing recommendations
- Offer external views and market insights to assist Flex’ strategic planning. Oversee the delivery of regular state of the industry & economy reports
- Based on corporate mandates & management theses, work with team to identify and analyze secular growth themes as well as disruptions
- Actively consult with analysts, business intelligence and subject matter experts where required
- Develop and implement a market and customer intelligence maturity roadmap
- Demonstrate sophisticated analytical skills - seeking out and piecing together fragments of information, extrapolating, building and applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns and drawing conclusions from partial data

- Be a thought partner & trusted advisor to the Strategy team’s leadership in crafting and driving initiatives towards career roadmaps for team members
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- 20+ years’ work experience, including 5+ years in corporate strategy/ market intelligence & strategic planning/ competitive strategy/ management consulting/ equity research / Financial modeling,
- Experience in building and leading high-performance teams in organizations
- Experience in analytics and business intelligence projects is a plus
- Strong executive presence and comfort speaking in front of senior business leaders up to C-Suite levels.
- Team player with strong communication, relationship-building, and leadership capabilities
- Bachelor’s degree; business, finance, or economics; MBA a plus.
- Experience within or related to the technology and/or manufacturing industry
