Job description 

We are a Fraud & Risk Operations team composed of dedicated fraud fighters who are passionate about protecting our customers and our business from financial loss and illicit activity across all Expedia Group brands. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Manager with a strong leadership and stakeholder management background. You will be responsible for facilitating Operations initiatives focused on key departmental objectives and will represent Operations in programs spanning multiple teams. As site leader for our Gurgaon teams, you will lead efforts to ensure our employee base is fully supported, assist in leadership development, collaborate with other groups including EFR leaders, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Facilities, Technology and Peer organizations. Collaboration with EFR leaders across multiple time zones will be required. This requires flexibility in adapting your approach as circumstances change. What you'll do

  • Foster the EFR Ops culture; be voice of EFR operations
  • Help to motivate the team to achieve departmental performance objectives
  • Accountable for collaboration in office logistics, liaise with Global Talent Acquisition, HR, and Facilities
  • Acting as EFR Ops site leader in cross-functional and cross-team meetings, and providing support in the hiring, training, and development of employees
  • Develop relationships with key EFR stakeholders, including Tech, Program, and Product teams; and with other teams within the site
  • Responsible for collaborating with peers of and/or leading operational excellence programs to drive performance improvements
  • Address local technical problems causing work stoppages, ensuring efficient resolution

Who you are

  • 8+ years experience in risk or security operations leadership in an ecommerce environment
  • 5+ years of People Management experience in an expansive environment
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize workload effectively, and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Superb communication and organizational skills allowing you to fluidly move between technical and business groups
  • Strong data and analytical skills are required; (i.e: SQL or similar query language experience, tableau, advanced excel, Power BI)
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external customers and business partners
  • Proven capacity for work with ambiguous and sophisticated situations that do not necessarily have a prescribed resolution
  • Ambitious and able to work well with frequently-shifting priorities
