Job description 

You will be working as Software Test Specialist and will be part of Process Automation business for BA Function Operation Centers and Quality division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Project Manager and will be responsible for contributing to ABB's success with technology, software, product or system development. Identifying and implementing innovative solutions to relevant problems.

 

Your responsibilities

  • Performing testing of products and solution
  • Proposing test strategy. Defining test cases
  • Preparing test report (with defects and bugs)
  • Releasing product upon successful testing
  • Being aware of testing stages and how to segregate those stages, with proven practical knowledge
  • Having capability to analyze the process and make out the test cases from feature / use cases

 

Your background

  • Bachelor’s or master degree in computer science or equivalent
  • Require 3 to 5 years of software testing experience
  • Good to have software testing experience, testing, automation framework preferably with experience in python written code
  • Well versed with testing, automation framework preferably with experience in python written code
  • Good Knowledge of writing test cases related to web application. Testing knowledge on data driven application
  • Preferable to have working knowledge on Azure Devops for maintaining test cases
