Job Summary

  • The Data Analyst partners with Revenue Cycle Manager to extract financial data from various accounting and information systems and performs financial analysis and reporting of data. This position is responsible for preparing yearly revenue budgeting, proactively solving client issues, being knowledgeable on healthcare hot topics, and generating monthly client reporting. 

Essential Functions and Tasks

  • Assists Revenue Cycle Manager by utilizing various internal software systems to extract data, analyze information, and effectively report on findings.    
  • Assists in the preparation of yearly revenue budgets and generation of month end KPI tracking. 
  • Improves client financial results by monitoring data, identifying variances and trends, developing resolutions, and making recommendations to Client Manager. 
  • Responds timely to Revenue Cycle Manager requests to meet their needs and expectations. 
  • Participates with Revenue Cycle Manager in regularly scheduled client calls.
  • Fills in for Revenue Cycle Manager as needed. 
  • Conducts industry research and participates in continuing education to develop strong healthcare and radiology industry knowledge. 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Analytical skills, mathematical and number skills, critical thinking.
  • Financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting skills. 
  • Strong systems and technology aptitude, excellent Excel skills. 
  • Ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative and the desire for professional growth. 
  • Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships. 
  • Strong sense of customer service and responsiveness. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively work and communicate with all levels in the organization. 
  • Intermediate SQL experience.
