The Team: Doc. Sourcing team works like data factory to source documents to market intelligence teams. Team creates value to internal stakeholders through sourcing ESG related data. We are looking for people who are passionate about research and would like to contribute in the ESG data set by utilizing internal & external public research sources. You will be part of most trending and growing team. Alongside you will gain valuable insights on upcoming ESG data base. You will deliver and maintain accurate, complete, and timely data sets while considering the business global interests and needs internally & externally

Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, monitor and collect the ESG reports (Corporate Sustainability Reports, from various publicly available sources (Company Websites, Stock Exchanges, etc.)
  • Analyze ESG data sets and provide detailed insights on the documents consumed by our downstream teams.
  • Process data (Financial or Non-Financial, depending on the process selected for) and apply it in an accurate manner to the database using technical and financial knowledge
  • Collection, Standardization, and validation of corporate annual, semi-annual or quarterly financial reports from companies or third party sources
  • Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
  • Work within parameters and with limited supervision to ensure quality and performance is as per set standards.
  • Keeps up-to-date in knowledge of content sets. Builds industry knowledge by understanding industry trends and reporting standards
  • Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the covered content sets.
  • Troubleshoots problems or issues and provide support to the team.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Fresher to 6 months experience: Graduate in B.Com / BBA / B.Sc (Eco) OR M.Com / M.Sc Eco /Post-Graduate / MBA in Finance as major Specialization with good academic track record.
  • Preferred qualification: MBA / Postgraduate / M.Com.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well versed with Web Research and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to think creatively, identify and resolve problems
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with the global Business environment, Databases, international/global Research sources and Content.
  • Ability to interact with many levels and to face and deal with issues in a mature and professional manner.
  • Good analytical and logical reasoning skills with Positive attitude towards work
  • Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness
  • Prior work experience in the field of ESG research, corporate sustainability or sustainability investing is an added advantage
