The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Roles & Responsibilities: Provide coordination and leadership in procurement activities for assigned region. Conduct due diligence and approve new vendors. Lead escalation related to PO execution, on time delivery and relationships with suppliers. Proactively work with global sourcing team as well as suppliers to improve On Time Delivery to target levels. Achieve lowest possible total cost for material and service, balanced against optimum quality and schedule needs. Evaluate current and anticipated requirements, determine potential sources, obtain bids, and plan programs to meet business needs. Presents to senior leaders in specific purchasing space and on cross functional teams on how sourcing contributes to overall strategy. Advises functional managers of other functions regarding approaches, processes, procedures and progresses. Drives continuous improvement initiatives within the Sourcing function. Identify and deliver value-adding opportunities for the business. Identify and lead processes enhancement. Lead cost out, localization, source optimization projects within Sourcing Lead supplier performance reviews with supplier focal and leadership Provide analytical data and lead implement improvement plan Achieve personal and functional targets with robust strategy development. Work closely with other functions (e.g. Finance) to ensure cross functional alignment with all projects and initiatives and to help business achieve targets Comply with company policy and process including but not limit in Sourcing, Compliance, Commercial, Quality, Production, EHS, HR, Lean, etc. Other tasks assigned by organizational or functional leader(s). Support signature/seal process including proper maintenance of related tools and rules. Assist in contacting, collaborating with, and preparing documents with external law firms. Manage board and shareholders meeting logistics, attend and record minutes of all board and shareholders meetings, facilitate board communications. Required Skills (Technical Competency): This role requires advanced experience in Sourcing & Supplier management. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical 8+ Years of relevant experience Negotiation skills with ability to influence at all levels of the organization. Strong quantitative and analytical skills; strong PC skills. Strong understanding of logistics requirements (incoterms, freight) Skilled in working collaboratively with remote personnel. Project management & process improvement skills. Strong Experience with Oracle ERP is preferred. LEAN Mindset is preferred. Fluent English Knowledge on SolidWorks is preferred.
