Position Description:

The main purpose and mission of the Connectivity HW, SW Integration and Release Group is develop and maintain our CI/CD pipeline, Release Management of all internally developed software for Volvo Groups Connectivity Platforms as well as the Hardware Product Ownership of Volvo Groups Telematics Gateway ECU (generation TGW2x and TGW3).

The mission is to:

• Manage hardware for different markets and execute the change requests from different stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain our Continuous Integration platform for the operations and integration of all internally developed software.
• Plan releases of TGW SW for different products
• Lead and continuously develop the people in the group to deliver according to committed deliveries and to achieve the objectives stated in the strategic action plan.
• Lead and continuously develop the processes, methods and tools that are used by the group to deliver according to committed deliveries and to achieve the objectives stated in the strategic action plan.
• Ensure that the hardware, CI platform, and release Management are managed and delivered in an optimal way.

The following qualifications are required:

• Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics, BE / BTECH degree or equivalent
• 4+ years of managerial experience from line and people leadership
• Minimum 7 years of experience from SW development in truck or car industry within the area of connected services
• Experience of agile methods, such as SCRUM and KANBAN
• Experience from DevOps is an asset.
• Experience from development of electrical and electronic systems is an asset.
• Experience of working with suppliers
• Experience from Automotive development is an asset.
