Job Role: Product Analyst

About the Role: The role of a Product Analyst involves collaborating closely with the product, design, and engineering teams to pinpoint avenues for enhancing the product and creating new features.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Gather and share insights on daily operations, features, and customer behaviours to aid the product team in uncovering, refining, and envisioning improvements.

-Monitor key metrics and track product performance to measure the impact of new features.

-Take charge of crafting and presenting reports that convey valuable product insights to stakeholders.

-Assist the team in conducting A/B experiments.

-Help the team execute and deliver high quality features. 

Skills: Must have: 

Strong data, statistics, and analytical skills with a good grasp of SQL and Excel. 

Understanding of data visualisation tools like QuickSight, Tableau and analytics tools like MixPanel, Google Analytics, etc.

Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, learn on the job and get things done.

Good to have

Proficient in managing extensive data sets from various sources.

Proficiency in programming languages such as R & Python.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

Basic grasp of mobile and web technologies.

Qualification: 

0-3 years of experience

An undergraduate degree in an analytical or qualitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science)

Graduated from a top-tier college.

Note: The candidate intially would be required to work in a shift starting at 1 pm  to 10 pm IST hours ( should be flexible).  Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Vision:  Work closely with Product Management to develop and maintain a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our asset management products. This includes understanding market trends, client feedback, and technology advancements. 2. Requirements Gathering:  Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client needs. 3. R&D Alignment:  Collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of product features and enhancements. 4. Feature Definition:  Create detailed feature specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring a clear understanding of the desired outcomes for development teams. 5. Prioritization:  Prioritize product features based on business value, client impact, and technical feasibility. 6. Iteration Planning:  Participate in Agile development processes, define sprint goals, and ensure the team's work aligns with the product roadmap. 7. Product Testing:  Collaborate with quality assurance and testing teams to ensure product quality, and conduct user acceptance testing. 8. Market and Competitive Analysis:  Continuously monitor the asset management market and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product improvement and innovation. 9. User Experience (UX):  Work with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces, considering user needs and feedback. 10. Stakeholder Communication:  Maintain open and transparent communication with stakeholders, ensuring that they are informed about the product's progress and any potential issues. 11. Product Launch:  Plan and execute product launches, including go-to-market strategies, user training, and documentation. 12. Product Performance Tracking:  Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the product's success and make data-driven decisions for further improvements. Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering). - 3 - 7 years of related experience, preferably in a global enterprise software company with a background in agile methodologies being highly desirable - Proven experience as a Product Owner in the software development industry. - Understanding of asset management practices is a bonus. - Excellent project management skills and experience with Agile methodologies. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. - Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions. - Familiarity with technology and software development processes. - Strong leadership and teamwork skills. - Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
