Job description 

Our Exciting Opportunity !

Project Finance Accountant (PFA) secures and develops efficient and compliant accounting in customer projects. PFA engage with Operations to Secure Accounting Directive Compliance (DRRES & OEF), SAP maintenance, Orders Booking, Revenue & Cost Planning & Recognition, Customer Invoicing, SOX Key controls, ABC and closure of objects.

React to Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) red flags (indications or warning signs that there may be a corruption risk present in relation to a business transaction or activity) identified in the course of our work and act on them together with line manager and colleagues”.

Secure Contract Accounting & Assessment

  • Provide Accounting Directive advice during Pre-Sales prior to SDP3 to evaluate financial accounting risks during execution
  • Perform contract assessment and take action according to Accounting Directives e.g. review by complex deal board or AD09 Champion
  • Secure input to Deal Revenue Recognition Evaluation and Structuring (DRRES) including Contract assessment, Risk and AD09 treatment
  • Secure the relevant pricing documents to support allocations & vouchers etc.
  • Perform Deal Structuring in DRRES
  • Prepare & present in quarterly contract reassessment
  • Review and sign off CA SOX key controls as "Local Sub Process Reviewer"
  • Coordinate Contract Assessment related audit & accounting requests

Secure Project Accounting

  • Create OEF (ONE Entry Form) and ensure approval
  • Excellent in crafting Transaction Price Allocation (TPA) template
  • Create & maintain Value Contracts in SAP
  • Ensure CPO & contract is registered & secure timely Orders Booked
  • Create & maintain Project Structure (PD, WBS & NW & achievements in SAP)
  • Create & maintain Rebate Agreements in SAP
  • Craft & maintain Sales Orders in SAP
  • Create & maintain Service Contracts Structures (CSC) in SAP

Analyze Project Accounting in SAP

  • Proactively review SAP objects and secure corrective actions with execution accountable
  • Proactively review & challenge quality of balance sheet positions (WIP/ RUC/ DR/ UB) & take action
  • Plan Accounting activities during Period end and secure timely actions
  • Manage Incentives & TPA’s

Ensure Project Accounting Compliance

  • Secure that Project Finance Accounting compliance controls are adhered to
  • Knowledge of Securing Project Accounting SOX Key Controls according to instructions & directives including Control Self-Assessment
  • Perform & Support Anti Bribery & Corruption Controls
