You will

  • Responsible for system architecture, design and software development for Ericsson’s Operations Manager Cloud Infrastructure (OMC) product – a highly scalable, carrier grade management system used in 5G Cloud Infrastructure solutions (NFV, Cloud Native, Distributed Cloud, Cloud RAN, other)
  • Provide leadership in standards and open-source communities related to Cloud technology esp. MANO, O-RAN, Kubernetes, Openstack
  • Provide technology leadership during entire lifecycle: product strategy and development. Drive innovation in the organization: forward-looking technology initiatives, contributions to industry forums (including standards) and patents.
  • Responsible for product requirement analysis, technical solutions, and implementation strategy. Ability to synthesize from the big-picture (customers, competitors, market and technology trends and standards).
  • Main interface towards Product Management, other Systems & Technology teams, and Ericsson Research; also responsible for technical contributions in customer engagements.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Strong background in Telco-grade product development,  development of large scale management systems, OSS/BSS, Cloud native and virtualization platforms.
  • Solid background in network solutions and architectures, including customer solutions design. Expertise in Cloud Native technology, Network Equipment Management, Cloud Infrastructure for  Virtualization, Container technology, Container Orchestration and Kubernetes technology.
  • Cloud technologies, Cloud networking, Distributed Clouds, Cloud Security, Network Assurance, O&M, Cloud native applications, Container technology, Kubernetes.
  • Solid grasp of design issues related to software abstraction and componentization versus system performance. Good technical understanding of Python programming.
  • Consultative behavior, business minded and strong team spirit. Good interpersonal and customer management skills. Great teammate with outstanding skills in collaboration among key partners.
