Structural Analysis and Design Engineer Intern

SIMULIA provides simulation technologies that allow Dassault Systèmes customers to develop digital twins of their products, and use a numerical representation of their physical aspects. The simulations range from multi-body system (MBD) to structural behavior (FEA) to computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to electromagnetics (EM) and vibro-acoustic (VA). 

SIMULIA has an opening for a structural analysis and design Engineer Intern. You should be able to leverage your technical skills to get industry knowledge and hands-on work experience by working on real industry problems. The skills gained in terms of modeling, analysis, design, and reporting is sought after and will benefit your engineering career.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Show case the manufacturing process simulation capabilities of the SIMULIA product suite to existing and prospective customers in industries such as T&M, A&D, IE and HT industries
  • Collaborate with engineers and researchers to define simulation objectives and requirements for manufacturing projects.
  • Understand latest developments in FEA techniques, manufacturing processes, and materials science.

Qualifications/Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Manufacturing Technology (M.Tech)
  • Good understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis concept
  • Knowledge on any simulation tools like Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, Dyna
  • Knowledge on any CAD software such as CATIA, SOLIDWORKS
  • Expertise in programming languages such as VB, Python etc is added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, and comfortable discussing technical issues
