You will be working as Project Manager and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Regional Project Management Director - AMEA and will be responsible for leading the execution of medium-size projects and ensures that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB policy, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contractual agreements, quality standards, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) requirements, financial targets and schedule commitments.

Your responsibilities

 

  • End to end project management activities in line with laid down processes. Managing software development and implementation projects
  • Collaborating with overseas team, both internal and external, remotely and in person. Delivering revenue and profitability and cash as per target set out
  • Coordinating with all stakeholders and product development team and ensuring proper representation of project status, risk management and change management. Value selling during project execution, maximizing changes and variation orders
  • Excellent understanding of project financials. Understanding of overall software project management, industrial digitalization and software development
  • Bring conversant in managing projects in industries such as Mining, Metals, Minerals, Water, etc
  • Having Excellent risk management skills. Having Excellent change and claim management skills. Skills in repositioning lesson learned in new opportunities or projects

 

Your background

 

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science / Electronics and Communication /Instrumentation from a reputed University
  • Minimum 12 to 16 years of experience in project management, project planning, ownership on the project, coordinate with engineering team
  • Independent handling of projects end-to-end, customer focused, self-motivated and a self-starter
  • Good listening and communication skills (both internally and with customers)
  • A fast learner with an interest to share knowledge and train peers or customers
