Global Channels Specialist - Valves & Gears

As a Global Channels Specialist, you will be responsible for: Serving as a key member of the Valves & Gears Global Channels team to support profitable growth within the Valves & Gears Channel Partner Portfolio. Managing and enforcing the review and contract process related to new and existing (renewal) channel partners (sales reps, distributors, service providers, etc. Developing a deep understanding of the Channel onboarding and renewal process and tools to ensure appropriate compliance and risk mitigation prior to the release of a contract to a Channel Partner Ensuring all required documentation sets available for closure hand-off product meetings, set date, invite participants and chair hand-off meetings if required Arranging for contract signatures once confirmed for all Channel partner entities as well as Baker Hughes entities listed in the contract. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will: Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. Have a minimum of 5 years of commercial, compliance, and underwriting, experience and dealing effectively with customers and/or channel partners. Have experience working with channel partners and commercial/underwriting experience in preparing complex transactions. Have experience in project-level proposal development, contract negotiation and execution. Have knowledge of legal aspects and implications of contracts, terms and conditions, negotiation, etc. to allow constructing contracts with minimizing risk. Demonstrate attention to detail and a heightened sense of teamwork, entrepreneurism and accountability. Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Local languages. Have good interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams. Be able to work across time zones in order to support regional activity and flexibility to travel.
