Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Ensure that equipment and tools are in good condition for use. Propose plans for preventive maintenance and corrective action. Developing in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Uses prior experience and acquired technical expertise to execute policy/strategy. In-depth understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. In-depth understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. Uses some level of judgment and has ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters but with guidance. Uses prior experience and on-the-job training to solve straightforward tasks. Has access to technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent. Provides informal guidance to new team members Ensure maintenance department functions at a maximum level of efficiency and highest quality possible by responding to management and supervisor requests, maintaining supplies, maintaining equipment in working order as required. (Maintain Equipment availability, MTTR and MTBF) Manage, control and co-ordinate all Maintenance Dept. contracts, scope and budget, ensuring all safety, quality and environmental requirements are met. (TPI of Cranes& MHE equipment’s, Risk Assessments, Aspect & Impact analysis of Environment etc...) Manage diagnostic on equipment and direct preventive maintenance program and implement Cost Reduction initiatives. Analytic ability to find solutions to different situations, problem solving, and decision taking. Able to manage, monitor and deliver capex expansion projects or replacement projects as and when required. (machine upgrades, develop upgrades in CNC machines like special drilling/milling Attachments etc...) Hands on experience CNC machines – like heavy boring and milling machines, Horizontal and vertical turning machines, Gantry type milling/turning machines like PAMA, HNK, Waldrichoburg, Tacchi, Spare parts planning Implementation and practice of Lean . Required Qualifications B.E. Mechanical Engineering with 8+ years / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 12 + years of experience in relevant field Prior project or leadership experience preferred. Professional knowledge on CNC machine maintenance, Fabrication, Hydraulics & Hydrostatics, and Maintenance of Heavy-Duty Cranes Compressors Knowledge of Trouble Shooting Techniques & problem Solving Trained & practiced Lean principles Creativity and innovative thinking. Understanding of Microsoft Tools (Word, PowerPoint and Excel). Good Communication, Presentation and Interpersonal skills
