We are looking for a candidate with 2-10 years of experience in system support. You will be responsible for handling faults, implementing system configuration changes, and providing cost estimation. Additionally, you should have a good understanding of Openstack solutions, virtualization technologies, and cloud-native concepts. Strong skills in programming languages such as Python and experience in storage solutions are also required.

What you will do

  • Work within well-defined system support guidelines.
  • Ensure to priorities faults to meet SLA/WLA.
  • Ensure accurate working methodology.
  • Handle emergencies and if required coordinate with Emergency support.
  • Implement system configuration changes as per given access rights.
  • Review of end to end solution and provide & lead the cost estimation in the pre sales engagement.
  • Support of Openstack solutions with multiple vendors and solutions like storage (SAN, NAS) and networking (SDN controller).

You will bring

  • Certification in any one of virtualization technology: VMware/RHEV/Hyper-V.
  • Basic/Advance level of certification in cloud technology like Microsoft Azure/GCE/VMware,/RHOSP/Docker/Kubernetes(k8)/OpenShift.
  • Must have good knowledge and deployment work experience of Telco Cloud(NFVI/MANO/Horizontal-Cloud/Vertical-Cloud).
  • At least 2 years’ experience with Openstack and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience of Virtualization Technologies on KVM, VMware, Cisco, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Red Hat or IBM (at least one vendor).
  • Required good understanding on CloudNative(Containers/Dockers/Kubernetes) and Cloud storages like CEPH.
  • Understanding of Operating System – RHEL, SUSE, CentOS, Ubuntu etc. (At least one of them).
  • Required Good Knowledge of Linux / Python / Yaml programming languages.
  • Solid experience on Openstack cloud platform and services.
  • Experience in using the Cloud & Linux related OpenSource solutions
  • Strong fix skills and ability to apply them during business impacting incidents.
  • Understanding of cloud automation technologies and configuration management.
  • Excellent Knowledge on Virtual Systems and Cloud Infrastructure.
  • RESTful API address, able to write scripts to call different Openstack API’s.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Storage solutions SAN/NAS.
  • Experience on preparing Method of Procedure for configuration.
  • Experience on test Execution & acceptance.
  • Analyses the solution from an end 2 end perspective Provide extensive support for HLD and LLD.
