Job description 

What success looks like in this role:

 

Design and integrate AWS-based microservices with CDN/CMS systems. 

Design content management architecture considering load balancing, caching, distributed server network and related aspects for global deployment and delivery of content for SaaS applications 

Design and implement automated deployment and scaling processes for microservices and CDN/CMS integrations for DEV, QA and PROD environments. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and delivery of cloud-based applications. 

Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AWS, microservices, CDN/CMS, and related technologies.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Bachelor’s or Masters’s in computer science or related field 
  • 8+ years of experience in software architecture and development, with a focus on AWS-based cloud solutions, microservices, CDN/CMS integrations, and modern web development technologies, specifically Java Spring Boot. 
  • Strong expertise in Java Spring Boot tech stack and tools. 
  • Strong knowledge and expertise with Relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server. Knowledge of no-sql DBs is a plus. 
  • Expertise in Front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks. 
  • Knowledge of Acceleration technologies such as caching, compression, and optimization. 
  • Expertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, and CloudFormation. 
  • Experience with microservices architecture and design patterns, such as service discovery, fault tolerance, and security. 
  • Knowledge of one or more of CDN/CMS technologies, such as Akamai, Cloudflare, WordPress, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager or Drupal. 
  • Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js. 
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and processes, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD, and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation). 
  • Experience with security and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, PCI, and GDPR. 
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
  • Experience with serverless architectures, such as AWS Lambda or Azure Functions. 
  • Familiarity with serverless frameworks, such as Serverless or AWS SAM. 
  • In-depth understanding of CDNs and CMSs beyond configuration and architecture, including SEO and metadata.
