Responsibilities

The role encompasses all aspects of service management being responsible of its Budget, the On time delivery, the quality in line with the project commissioning scope to be monitored.

Leadership and supervision of the commissioning activities during the preparation and execution of the project.

Ensure that the commissioning scope is delivered and integrated in the overall project plan, commissioning tasks are performed in a safe and timely manner in accordance with the projects pipeline, budget and time schedule, and commissioning procedures are executed in a standardized method and observations/results are documented in a consistent format.

Plan and supervise all technical resource activities related to the turbine commissioning, warranty, parts and tool management with special focus on the planning commitments made. Liaise with Technical Support team to obtain engineering support, review loop diagrams, electrical safety standards and vessel regulatory management.

Provide support during the assembly and the quality check for the components in the assembly plants.

Ensure the setting the wind farms communication systems, hardware and software in collaboration with the IT and engineering departments.

Ensure flawless execution and seamless transition from Commissioning to O&M.

Anticipate and direct timely and effective responses to problems, ensuring that overall installation and operations are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, comply with all applicable regulations and fulfill quality, schedule and budgetary requirements while maintaining current customer satisfaction.

Guarantee the fulfilment of EHS rules on site and comply with EHS policy.

Cooperate in combating any emergency that arises.

Immediately report failures, deficiencies, or any situation detected and that may pose a risk to people and anything that might involve some uncontrolled risk.

Report any accident or incident is detected, helping as needed in the subsequent investigation of it.

 

Qualifications

Systems application experience and knowledge a must (SAP MM module is highly desirable or other ERP).

Experience in offshore industry projects site construction, with multinational team and subcontractor workforce.

Experience in design, commissioning and service of power conversion systems.

Good inter-personal and communication skills, be numerate and literate. Good IT skills and the ability to work with minimum supervision is essential.

Ability to review, negotiate contracts

Confident personality

High degree of flexibility, highly motivated with the ability to work in a time-sensitive situation

Good interpersonal and leadership skills.

Experience on tooling, suppliers, quality tool management.

Knowledge of operation of WTG systems such as Pitch system, Yaw system, cooling circuits, elevator, hydraulic systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented.

Capable of handling multiple tasks or assignments simultaneously and efficiently without direct supervision.

Ability to organize and coordinate cross functional teams required to work closely during a project's start-up, testing and commissioning phase.

Ability to establish and leverage relationships with key stakeholders to proactively initiate requests for support from targeted internal and external subject matter experts needed to address plant startup and commissioning requirements.

Frequent travel required (dependent upon project cycles and offshore rotation)

Skilled to deal with client offshore

 

Competencies

  • Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or Marine Electro Technical Officer (ETO) STCW III/6 or Chief Mate/Master STCW II/2 Unlimited.
  • Minimum 8 years Engineering experience or other related field including a minimum 5 years of experience in power electrical system.
  • Experienced with Regulatory compliance management (Flag, Class and Navy) and GMDSS.
