About the Role

In this opportunity as Solutions Consultant, Legal, you will:

  • Engage in solution advocacy using best in class technology, providing solution and product expertise during the sales cycle. This generally involves supporting the specialist sales teams to define and scope the appropriate solution to fulfill customer needs
  • Understand customer requirements / needs and find the best solution within Thomson Reuters’ capability to develop a suitable and strong proposal which can create difference from competitors
  • Manage, lead and execute product demonstrations during the customer buying cycle
  • Respond quickly to new leads working with urgency to progress deals through the sales cycle
  • Develop and help to close new opportunities to meet and exceed recurring and outright Gross Sales quotas
  • Keep up to date with news and changes in policy, regulations and activities of major players in the industries to have sufficient domain knowledge to lead discussion with customers and present expertise in public
  • Assist in key retention situations, bringing domain expertise relevant to the customer – as agreed with the appropriate stakeholders
  • Act as an advocate for customer needs to the business and product team.

 

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Solutions Consultant, Legal if your background includes:

  • The successful candidate will typically have between 8-10+ years’ total industry experience with a background in legal, using or implementing a legal software or relevant application software to drive efficiency, typically from Enterprise/SaaS solution company.
  • Strong client facing with excellent presentation skills (both verbal & written).
  • Subject Matter Expert - Understand needs and opportunities for legal team, legal automation, with ability to apply that knowledge across a portfolio of clients
  • Demonstrated understanding of the challenges facing legal in Korea markets and the key data/information and process necessary to confront those challenges
  • Strong commercial skills, including an understanding of the sales process (Experience managing the bid or proposal process, including responding to RFP/RFIs).
  • Consultative and problem-solving skills (technology advocate and solution oriented).
  • Customer oriented approach with strong skills in negotiation, complex problem solving and conflict management.
  • Highly entrepreneurial and ability to work across multiple team/parts of the organization.
  • Resourceful and highly organized self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and operate successfully in a complex, dynamic, fast paced, highly collaborative, and continuously evolving environment

Responsibilities Work independently within the Export and Delivery Operations team to address and resolve export compliance alerts via a thorough review of Customer information against Autodesk’s Export Compliance screening system (Oracle OWS) Work with a sense of urgency to resolve Export Compliance blocks against open customer orders Assist the Export Customer Screening team and Global Trade Compliance in conducting research and further investigation into current and potential Customer Accounts.  This will involve investigating the company and industry scope and documenting their proposed usage of Autodesk products and services Export Customer Screening Analysts will work to either clear export compliance order blocks or to confirm that the denial of sale is appropriate based on their research and the Export Compliance status of the customer in question.  The E.C.S.
