Job Description:

Pitney Bowes is now hiring for Full Time Presort Facilities Associate in our Brown Deer, WI Facility.  

 

1st shift (Monday thru Friday / 8:00AM to 4:30PM) 

Base Rate: $20.00 / ph  

 

You are:  

An individual that can prioritize tasks and get the job done with minimal supervision. Demonstrates great attendance and attitude and have proven to be dependable and versatile.  You have no more than a documented counseling on file and have no written warnings. Has the ability to maintain daily operations of the physical facility. Perform “handy person” maintenance duties such as: moving items, hanging cork boards and other items, engagement and other events setup, simple electrical projects, painting, cleaning, light construction, minor plumbing, install or replace bollards, maintain water in PIV equipment and interior and exterior cleanup. Utilize scissor and forklift to store pallets and hang flags and banner from ceiling. Maybe required to operate a sorting machine. 

 

You will:  

·         Maintain daily cleanliness and safe conditions of facility interior and exterior grounds through all seasons. 

·         Perform “handy person” maintenance duties such as furniture and/or equipment moves, simple electrical projects, painting, repairs, and employee gathering set-ups. 

·         Work with outside vendors and contractors on building and equipment repairs 

·         Manage and perform various inspections throughout the year ranging from weekly to annually. 

·         Manage scrap and recycling of various items 
 

Your background:  

As a Facilities Associate, you have:  

·         Ability to be available 24/7 to address anything with the building and or the security of it. 

·         Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple work assignments with frequent interruptions. 

·         Basic knowledge of Microsoft office 

·         Ability to work in a team. 

·         Ability to attend to detail. 

·         Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal Skills. 

·         Good Conflict resolution skills 

·         1 year of experience in basic maintenance field is required.
