Job description 

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Controlling is responsible for leading various controlling activities and will oversee actual, forecast, budget, and planning cycle, working in alignment with Finance and Functional leads. This role requires overall ownership, control, and analysis of operating expenses of the business and cost centers. This role will be a key liaison, aligning and providing insights to business management and functional leaders.


Your Team

This position will report directly to the Shared Service Leadership.
The role will oversee 2+ Managers and their teams. Approximate team oversight of 12.

What You Will Do

  • Providing guidance to team to ensure accurate, timely reporting and submissions.
  • Lead team through the annual budget process, month end close and forecast
  • Develop financial models to support improved analytics and reporting
  • Develop and define KPIs to measure effectiveness of the team and report out to senior leadership.
  • Design path for continuous improvements
  • Partner with divisional and functional leads to ensure deliverables and requirements are met for all activities. 
  • Develop standardization and process improvements to find efficiencies.
  • Team leadership; Leading and mentoring a team of professional's providing guidance and coaching to drive performance and professional.

 

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant fields
  • 10+ years' experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, or Controlling
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to support various functions
  • Self-driven with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and related Finance and statutory requirements
  • A team player with a strong sense of responsibility to get the job done
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, focus on accuracy, timeliness and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
  • Process oriented with a best practice mindset
  • Ability to support various time zones

 

What is Nice to Have

  • Knowledge in ERP systems: SAP
  • CA, MBA or CPA a plus
  • Proficient in BPC tool
